Just like every piece is important to complete a puzzle, every member is an important part of our chapter. Whether you're a first-year member, a senior, or somewhere in between, you have a place here. Every person brings something unique; your ideas, talents, experiences, and personality all help make our chapter stronger. West Valley FFA is more than just an organization; it's a family. We want every member to feel welcomed, supported, and encouraged to step outside of their comfort zone. This chapter is a place where you can make new friends, learn new skills, discover your passions, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

President - Camila Lopez - Grade 12
Hi Mustangs! My name is Camila J Lopez. I am more than grateful to be serving as your President for the 26-27 school year. I have been in the agricultural program for almost 3 years, completing almost all the available pathways! Using all my strength to begin fighting for goals this year, and staying true to myself at all times and to my FFA chapter this school year, I show you that Every Piece Matters to your future here in our Agricultural programs and FFA chapter.

Vice President - Rilynn Prout - Grade 11
Hi Mustangs! My name is Rilynn Prout, and I am thrilled to serve as your Vice President for the 2026–2027 school year! This is my second year in FFA, and I am currently a junior here at West Valley. I am incredibly excited for everything this year has in store. My goal is to bring positivity, dedication, and encouragement to our chapter. When I joined FFA as a sophomore, I was welcomed in such a genuine way. I hope to give that same feeling back to others and leave a lasting, positive impact on this chapter. To me, FFA is a place where you can be your authentic self, grow as a leader, and make lifelong friendships. I look forward to serving this chapter and making this a year we can all be proud of!

Secretary - Danielle Thompson - Grade 12
Hello, I'm Danielle Thompson! I'm a senior here at West Valley, and I'm going into the 26-27 school year as your secretary! I’ve already been in this program for a year, and I'm so excited to see what this year (and the students it welcomes) has to offer. I'm ready for a year of projects, awesome learning experiences on field trips, and success for our members! I took Agricultural Mechanics last year and intend to be faithful to this pathway this next year as an AG Mech 2 student. So if you wish to find me, you'll find me working in the shop or writing quotes down in the classroom. It is my mission this year to make members feel heard, seen, and confident in their abilities. On an interest-based note, I love reading classic literature, listening to Hozier, and playing the cello. I'm a compassionate, adaptable, and determined girl who loves to listen to people talk about their interests and help others find solutions to their problems. I hope this year will be productive and full of opportunities for you all!

Treasurer - Oliver Ramirez - Grade 12
Hello everyone! My name is Oliver Alexis Ramirez, and I am honored to serve as your 2026–2027 WVHS Chapter Treasurer. A little about me: I'm a big family guy who loves fishing, playing sports, and staying active in the gym. When I first joined FFA, I didn't fully understand the purpose of the organization. However, through the patience and support of our incredible advisors and officer team, I quickly discovered how amazing this program truly is. From that moment on, my goal became to be like the leaders who inspired me and, if possible, inspire others in the same way. As your Treasurer, my mission is to serve our chapter with integrity, honesty, responsibility, and a focus on my one word for the year: patience. To me, patience means taking the time to understand others, making thoughtful decisions, and never losing sight of the bigger picture. I believe the strongest leaders aren't the ones who act the fastest; they're the ones who listen first, learn continuously, and lead with purpose. I strive to be accepting, communicative, optimistic, helpful, humble, and, above all, patient. As Treasurer, I will work hard to keep our chapter's finances organized and transparent, support successful fundraisers, and ensure every dollar is used to create meaningful opportunities for our members. I am committed to being a trustworthy leader not only within our chapter but also in everything I do. My goal is to strengthen our chapter, encourage every member to get involved, and help create opportunities for everyone to grow, lead, and succeed. Reporter - Jamie Godoy - Grade 12
Hello FFA members, I am your 26-27 Chapter Reporter! This program has allowed me to be my true self, where I find a place in which I feel included. I really hope that I can help everyone feel included and also inspire you to get involved. Even though nothing is forever in life, what will always be with us are the memories and experiences that you and I will have on this amazing path of agriculture and leadership. It is my duty as an FFA officer to make this chapter stand up and be a safe space in which we all can be united and passionate about this chapter and what FFA means to us. One of my main goals is to make people more interested in this program, due to the fact that it can open doors and opportunities to everyone; everyone belongs here.

Sentinel - Ayden Valdes - Grade 10
Hello Mustangs, my name is Ayden, and I am excited to be your new chapter Sentinel for 26-27. This is my second year in FFA, and I will make it my mission to make people feel welcome, heard, seen, comfortable, and valued. When I joined my freshman year, I was highly encouraged by the people around me to join in my early years of high school, and I couldn't be more grateful for the friendships, support, and opportunities this chapter has given me. That experience inspired me to give back by encouraging others to join our chapter. I want to inspire others to join our program and show that FFA is a place where everyone belongs, can grow, and become the best version of themselves. I hope to help create an environment where every member feels supported and excited to be part of our chapter. I look forward to serving you this year.
