Our Message
Hey FFA members!
We’re your West Valley FFA Officer Team, and we’re so excited to lead our chapter this year. We became officers because FFA has had such a big impact on each of us — helping us grow as leaders, step out of our comfort zones, and find a second family. Now, we want to help you have that same experience (and even better)!
This year, we’re focused on building a chapter where everyone feels included, supported, and encouraged to get involved. Whether it’s your first year or your last, we want you to know there’s a place for you here. We’ve got some awesome events, activities, and opportunities coming up — and we can’t wait to see what we accomplish together.
Let’s make this year one to remember!

Vice President - Anette Alvarez - Grade 12
Hey everyone, my name is Anette Alvarez, and I’m your 2025 - 2026 FFA Vice President. As the middle child of four sisters, I've developed a sense of responsibility, caring for my younger siblings while setting a positive example. I approach situations calmly and value different perspectives. Enjoying sports helps me build community and foster inclusiveness, and I have a deep appreciation for being outdoors and in nature. With that said, I will use everything I’ve learned up until this moment to be involved in more competitions and conferences. I promise that I will make an impact on this organization and do my part to grow our chapter.

Secretary - Cesar Arceo - Grade 12
Hi, I’m Cesar Arceo! I’m a senior at West Valley High School and currently serve as the Secretary for the West Valley FFA Chapter. I’ve been involved in Agriculture classes throughout all four years of high school, and I’ve been a part of my school’s Veterinary Science team since my sophomore year. After graduation, I plan to pursue a career in agriculture by attending college to become a veterinarian. I’m someone who loves helping others, and I take pride in being kind, dedicated, and hard-working. I always give my best in everything I do and strive to go above and beyond. Through FFA, I hope to continue growing as a person while also inspiring and supporting others, helping them find joy, confidence, and direction in their own journeys. Leadership, to me, means making a positive impact, and that’s what I aim to do as an officer.

I’ve been a member of the FFA since my freshman year, and I am now proud to be a senior with four years in the agriculture program, including my fourth year as an officer. My focus has been in Agriculture Mechanics, where I’ve found a passion for hands-on projects such as making beautiful cutting boards. FFA has helped me develop practical skills and become part of a community. I’m excited for what’s ahead and grateful for everything FFA is to offer

Sentinel - Christopher Ramirez - Grade 12
Hello. My name is Christopher Ramirez, and I am proudly elected
2025 - 2026 Sentinel FFA Officer. My duties are to ensure the meeting room is properly prepared and welcoming, and to assist the president in maintaining order. I am currently a senior officer at WVHS and am involved in various other programs on campus, such as the IB program and Band. I am also dedicated to the duty I've been given, no matter how stressful or long it may be, and am a welcoming and kind person, which is important as it's a key part of my job as the Sentinel. Some goals I have for this year are to become the best leader I can possibly be, inspire others to join FFA, and get them out of their comfort zone, convincing members to be part of future FFA officers and leadership. I can't wait to have an amazing and productive year for FFA. |
